Abstract

Antibiotics are widely used in aquaculture and seafood processing, thereby generating antibiotic residues that pollute the water environment. Antibiotic contamination in water sources is a serious threat that causes antibiotic resistance. Using XRD, IR and SEM methods, the particle size of CeO2.nSiO2 nanomaterial was determined to be 40 nm and has a surface area of 64.9 m2/gram. This material is used to treat Amoxicillin antibiotic residues in shrimp processing wastewater, with a content of 5mg/ml achieving 98% efficiency after 90 minutes of treatment. The research results will be the scientific basis for the practical application of production technology processes.
