SOLUTIONS FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND EXPLOITATION OF ECOLOGICAL TOURISM IN THE XUAN THUY NATIONAL PARK OF NAM DINH PROVINCE FOLLOW SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT ORIENTATION

Abstract

Ecotourism is a type of tourism based on the attractiveness of the natural resources and indigenous culture. This is a potential business sector from both an economic, society and environmental perspective. Xuan Thuy National Park is located in Giao Thuy district - Nam Dinh province with typical biodiversity values, rich ecotourism resources. However, at present, this National Park is managed with the main goal of biodiversity conservation, which limits the participation of tourism businesses and local communities in exploiting ecotourism resources. the economic value of this tourism resource has not yet been fully exploited. Therefore, on the basis of theoretical and practical research, the author proposes solutions to manage and exploit ecotourism in Xuan Thuy national park of Nam Dinh province towards sustainable development.
