Abstract

Fishing boats in Vietnam use 100% Diesel engines, however about 35% of the engine's heat is being wasted into the environment. This article uses AVL - Boost software and Ansys-Fluent software to simulate the heat obtained from the engine's exhaust heat. From there, calculate the design of the part that collects heat from the exhaust gas. Based on the parameters of heat recovered from the exhaust gas, the exhaust gas temperature is reduced and the water passing through the tank: The team came up with the following structural parameters of the exhaust heat collector: Equipment length 1000 mm; tube thickness 2.5 mm; tube shell size 163/169 mm; Inner heat exchange tube size 137/142 mm; Exhaust inlet and outlet 60 mm; Seawater inlet and outlet 34 mm; cone angle 630. Simulation results show that the 18-blade exhaust heat recovery device has advantages and is used to experiment with the distillation system.
